This year's photo recreates Blondie's 1978 "Parallel Lines" album cover.
Neither Jennifer nor I ever owned a Blondie album. (Full disclosure: I did own the "American Gigolo" soundtrack on cassette, but it was less about the music than about pretending I was Richard Gere.) The simple truth is that I've always considered Jennifer to be a hotter version of Debbie Harry--mixed with a little bit of Olivia Newton-John and a hint of Pat Benatar.
And she pulls it off nicely, I must say.
